John B Ledger (b.1984 Barnsley) is a practicing artist of approximately 20 years, who began making art as a way to articulate struggles with mental illness in a way that was empowering in that it helped define his sense of self. This has continued to inform John's practice, which has grown to articulate political, cultural and ecological affairs through a mixture of mediums, including film, map-making, writing, sculpture, and most notably, a continuous series of large scale landscape drawings.
