Terry
HUDSON

A transatlantic kid, Terry Hudson was born in '56 and grew up on farms in Missouri, Washington & Cheshire, with a west coast hippy-anarchy, anti-war attititude. An Airforce hitch brought him back to England in 1975. Always a fan of British summer festivals and events, he spent years with Euro-anarchists and Peruvian Quechua, revisiting American culture.

As a campaign field co-ordinator of the Northern Green Gathering, where the first Little Anarchist Bookshop was created, more as an ironic bit of festival art and a place to sit in the campaign tent.

When Terry came to Doncaster he found a community that seems to exist in most towns and cities of the world. The people at A Commune in the NorthBentley Urban Farm and The Mother Fhungus Festival allowed Terry to recreate the Little Anarchist Bookshop here in Doncaster.

This December & January, artist–poet–horticulturist Terry Hudson transforms ArtBomb into an immersive forest of pine, moss, birdsong and ideas. Expect:

  • Terry’s personal library of classics, philosophy & anarchist lit

  • Conversations, workshops, readings & poetry

  • Ethical festival culture, DIY craft, off-grid know-how

  • Zine-making, self-publishing, Raspberry Pi basics & more

Preview 2pm-4pm 6th December 2025 @ ArtBomb HUB
